Overall well worth it for the price point.

Had these for about two months now and they are going strong. Sound quality is decent, suprisingly bassy and very customisable. You can adjust the sound quality seperately with each earbud which is great for those who have varied healing ability. The app is packed full of features as well and really easy to use and setup. Noise cancellation is actually really solid, I wasn't expecting it. I've taken these on long flights and it did a really good job of cutting out the engine and general noise of the plane. The fit is decent, it does come with multiple sizes and is snug in the ear. I've worn these for a 2-3 hours at a time with no issue, I take these when I go for a run and they feel secure, very rarely needing any adjustment once in.Material is nice, somewhere between budget and premium. It does show some finger marks on both the earbuds and the case. and the rubbery material under the lid tends to hold a bit of dirt. But the case feels solid and the lid snaps down firm so no worrying about the buds falling out.Main concerns here fall around some missing features and battery life. 50H I think was a bit generous but I do tend to use the power consuming features quite a bit. It is offset by the quick charging, 10 minutes in the case gives a couple hours of use. Missing features I can probably forgive with the price, things like the sound not pausing when you take the earbug out of your ear. But what it does do it does well. The BT connectivity seems solid, they instantly connect when not in the case, I have had a couple instances where I needed to turn them off and on again because they didn't connect nicely, but I haven't had a pair of earbuds where this hasn't happened if I'm honest.Only thing I can't really comment on yet is longevity, I'll try remember to report back on how long these hold up, but so far overall a solid purchase I'm happy with.

Good quality but poor NC

Good battery life but poor NC. Can’t use these on my bike ( use Soundcore liberty indtead ). Fine for gym though and music quality is ok for the price.

Great all-rounder set of earbuds at a reasonable price. Recommended.

Very happy with these earbuds. In particular, the compactness of the case and earbuds themselves. Fit is perfect from me out-of-the-box but it comes with additional plug sizes. Battery life is very good and blue-tooth connected without issues to my Android phone and cd player. Sound quality is great for the price and the noise cancelling is functional. A superb set of earbuds for the price. Would recommend.

Great value alternative to big brands

To a non-audiophile, the difference between these and my old $200 Bose earbuds is identical. If anything, these sound slightly better. Not as bassy but have a nice warm sound profile. ANC works well and is adjustable via the app. Unfortunately one of the batteries has worn out faster than the other, meaning the battery life is uneven, but the charging case charges them up fast enough to not really warrant replacement.

Excellent fit and sound quality

These are the first earbuds I've found that stay securely in my ears. The shape sits comfortably and securely in my concha and doesn't become dislodged when I move my ears or rest my face on my hand. They feel very well made and the sound quality is excellent. Speech is particularly clear at low volume, which is ideal for listening to audiobooks while still being aware of my surroundings. Music also has excellent clarity and bass.Very impressed with these earbuds.

Quality and latency

Good set of headphones. Albeit for call handling, I've noticed that there's a latency. ANC is good though

Decent budget IEMS

Pros; With the right sized tip to seal they sound great. It would be nice if included tips were memory foam. They sound ok but not oustanding. Which is not assumed at this price point.Cons;Haven't been able achieve 100% charge for both earbuds within two cycles. R was lower than L. Maybe they will train in?Microphone unusable even if hand held in a quiet room, paired to a pixel Pro local recording results in robotic voice if any.Definitely usable for consuming music or podcasts when fitted well. I ordered foam tips from another vendor.

Good value for money. Good for side-sleeping. Reasonable noise reduction.

A valid, realistic noise‑reduction figure for the Soundcore Space A40 is roughly 20–25 dB of reduction, which corresponds to 70–85% reduction in low‑frequency noise. Still good value for money. The stock tips are a good range of sizes, however still are uncomfortable for long duration wear (Not SoundCore's issue - more about my ears). These are good for side sleeping, my main reason for buying, once you switch off the earpiece buttons via the app. There are a good choice of app noise masking sounds. You need these if you want the earpieces to last all night, playing your own from bluetooth drains the battery too fast to last the night. Plan to buy some memory foam tips to see if that improve comfort - plus - will give additional noise reduction.

Soundcore packs a puch for the bucks

Soundcore wins again. I've had 2 cheap pairs that worked a treat, one didn't last. So I began, the - which ones will I get to have a spare? I tried 4 other brands, and there were problems with all 4. I finally said F it, I'll try Soundcore again. The noise cancellation is good, not great. The sound is fantastic. I use them on my TV at night, then use YouTube to have music while I'm getting ready for bed. I wore them 44 nights without charging, and they still had 2 bars out of 3 of charge in them. The Bluetooth is great. easy connection, which works from my lounge all around the unit. Including behind closed doors. e; Bathroom. Highly recommend

Great value, great clarity, big sound, great app, incredible reception (minor issues with LDAC)

Wow. What an incredible deal. Great clarity. Huge sound. Incredible Bluetooth range. Great app. Great fit. Super comfortable. Good soundstage. Only let down with minor connection instability if you enable LDAC (which most won't, and iPhone users can't).Metal, rock, hip-hop, electronic, all sound great. The only thing they struggle with is classical. I can't seem to tune them in any way that's not a little shrill for classical.Great clarity. I'm hearing elements of songs I hadn't noticed before. Very big sound also. Too bassy by default for my taste, but the EQ works well to tame that, and bassheads will enjoy for sure. But unlike most other bass-heavy earphones, these have tons of clarity. It's the first time I can remember actually turning down the top-end treble a smidge. In fact I think they've really gone out of their way to not sound harsh - but for me some heavy attenuation of bass (-6dB), slight +1dB boost across upper the mids (that's rare) and attenuation of the highest frequency (-2dB), sounds really great (easily facilitated by the EQ in the phone app). They've got everything covered if you want it, and seemingly at no cost to other frequencies (per the dual drivers I guess). The bass holds a lot of punch and clarity even at -5dB (even still a little too much on sustained bass drops in metal, but nit-picking). I think LDAC is actually worthwhile on these if you use any streaming service EXCEPT Spotify, and turn on lossless or Hi-Res Audio. Normally buds at this price don't have the range to justify it (don't buy JBL).The Bluetooth range is incredible. I can walk my entire unit and they're rock solid (caveat below). I think that's better than my Airpods 2.My only gripe is that connection with LDAC (which most won't enable, and it's not even an option on iPhone thanks to Apple) isn't completely stable even sitting at a desk 50cm from the phone. It does drop enough to notice. Which is a shame cuz there is a marginal improvement in sound with LDAC given these earbuds have a lot of treble clarity. My only gripe so far (yet to test out the wind noise reduction, which makes me wonder if they have a problem with wind). Which is odd because Bluetooth range is great. So a bandwidth or software issue? Hard to say.Noise cancelling seems very effective. Very well drowns out my noisy fan heater. But also plenty of top-end attenuation. But the transparent mode also works very well to let sound in when you want it. And I love that you can choose to let in all sound, or just voices. The app is really good. It can tell you automatically if you have a good fit in your ear by measuring the sound quality. I was able to stay on the default medium tips, but it's amazing that there are 5 sizes.I have noticed just sitting at my desk that there is occasional signal loss with LDAC. It recovers quickly. Not enough to particular bug me. But I guess I'll turn that off if out and about. Though turning on LDAC has also disabled. They are very beautiful. The white colour really shines with chrome and silver highlights. But they don't really stand out in ear either. Aesthetically a very attractive package all round, including very subtle charge LEDs seemingly behind the plastic. Wireless charging works well.Oh and the touch controls are very good. They seem to have positioned the touch sensor well to avoid accidental presses. They have the single touch controls turned off by default, but I have turned them on because they work well. I can adjust the fit without accidentally triggering them.

Really impressive - even 2 years after original release

Having come from some of the fully featured, higher priced earbud options (i.e. Technics / Audio Technica / Sony), I've been blown away at the value that is packed in to the Soundcore Space A40 that we picked up during one of Amazon's sales. The sound and feature set of these buds punches way above its weight - the LDAC and a good high res music source certainly shows its strength here. The variety of EQ presets that came pre-installed in the app is fabulous and will put a smile on the face of most listeners. And for the serious audiophiles, go custom and create your own. What I find especially positive and surprising is the brilliant Bluetooth range of these buds. I can easily move around our house to different levels, rooms and even out to the garden and shed. And the BT connection stays firm, with no drop outs despite the walls and distance. For reference, we have roughly 15-20 Bluetooth ear buds, from the budget to the high end. Not one other set give us such great range. They are easily one of the most comfortable and secure fitting bud-style (not stem) earphones I've tried. And lastly, they are also quite low profile and are quite good to sleep with. All up, we're delighted with the purchase.

Very hard to fault for the price

I'll start with the bad. I have a couple of pairs of TWS buds in the rotation, including the Technics AZ60 and the Audio-Technica ATH-CKS50TW. These retail for double or even triple the price of the Soundcores. I find the Soundcores a little uncomfortable and haven't been able to get an optimal fit - merely a fit that is *good enough*. The ear tip sizes seem a little different from other buds I've used, and I fall somewhere in between sizes with these. They are also significantly more compact than my other buds. This will appeal to some - but I find this actually makes them less comfortable. Everyone is different, however, and your results may vary. Aftermarket ear tips are relatively inexpensive, and are, of course, always an option. The high-gloss plastic is also a bit of a fingerprint magnet... and feels by no means cheap, but not exactly premium either. In short: don't expect flagship quality at this price. Now the good. The sound quality is more than decent, and verging on excellent for the price. The Technics are noticeably better here, but actually not by all that much. The noise cancelling does a commendable job and you will definitely notice when it is switched on (looking at you, Audio-Technica). It will easily cancel out consistent, low frequency drones like fan and engine noises, so it is perfectly fine for commuting and the like, but things like voices and music will cut through fairly easily. It does far exceed expectations for the price, however. Also Bluetooth multi-point (let alone ANC) is exceedingly rare (possibly even unique) at this price point and is the main reason I was persuaded to pick these up - I probably wouldn't buy headphones without it. It works faultlessly here. Can't say I've made extensive use of them on calls, but so far they seem perfectly fine on my end, and I haven't had any complaints.Where these really shine is the hear-through function, which is the best out of the three sets I own, and actually by quite a significant margin. You should have no issues having a conversation with them in (I have even watched TV) and there is no sensation of deafness or of being under water. If you've never owned noise-cancelling buds before, these are a no-brainer. If you already own flagship level buds, these likely won't feel like an upgrade unless you're behind by a generation or two - but they probably won't feel like much of a downgrade, either. They would in any event make for an eminently serviceable spare set.

Great bang for bucks - But I returned due to sub-par microphone call quality

I've been looking for a multi-point earbuds to replace my old Jabra Elite Active 65t. My main use is for casual music, game and mainly for calls via android phone or Zoom on laptop. The Space A40 is a great bang for bucks, it has all the necessary features to compete with other flagship products including the impressive battery life. If you don't care much about the microphone quality it is easily the best bang for bucks you can get right now.The case is light, doesn't feel cheap with nice lid open and close experience. It is small enough to put in your pocket comfortably and hold an impressive 40 hours of charge without ANC. 4/5The earbuds itself is light, looks good, stays well in your ear during light exercise such as burpees. When you start to sweat, you'll need to adjust earbuds else they may fall out. Comfort wise, if you don't use it over 2 hours each time, it should be fine. I use it daily for work so after a day, my ears was sore, not sure if it is because of the ear tips (I used the smallest size the came in the box). 3/5The App is intuitive, easy to navigate and use. The ANC is decent, blocking out background noise except voices, you can tell the different when it is one versus off. When walking outside, you can still hear the outside noise with ANC on, the wind reduction function makes no difference. I don't believe it blocks out 98% of the noise as advertised. It has custom EQ & HearID which makes it great to customise as per your preference. 3/5Battery life - I used it with ANC off and it can last around 6-8 hours with continuous use before needing to recharge. Quick charge function is great - battery life won't be an issue for you. 5/5Sound Quality - On LDAC mode, the sound is full, great clarity on voices and instruments. The bass is decent but it is not comparable to other top end earbuds. For casual music, I would recommend these to average consumers. 3/5Multi-point - can connect to 2 devices with LDAC disabled, the connection set up is straight forward and simple to do. You'll need to Pause the sound on one device before playing on the 2nd device. 3/5Microphone - This was my main use case, which I really hoped that the microphone would be an OK job. However, the feedback from was the sound is unpleasantly loud to the point where the recipients need to turn down the volume. The voice clarity is mediocre, feels like your voice is vibrating and capturing additional artificial sound through the microphone (I use in my home office, with no background noise or other sound). My colleagues rate this microphone 5/10 and my Artic Pro Wireless 9/10 (my daily driver for calls) . This was a little disappointing as I was hoping it would be a good job. 2/5Overall, the product is good bang for bucks which makes it an easy recommendation to any average users. However, if you rely on microphone quality like I do, better to invest more money in another pair of earbuds. I decided to return mine as it does not meet my main criteria even though it does exceptionally well in many areas at a budget price.Hope this helps.
